Blogging with the Kids

I love that our system is paying for all of us to have Gaggle.  The kids enjoy checking and writing email, keeping their blogs, and the digital lockers certainly come in handy!  However, I haven't yet figured out how to get the RSS feed for the blogs to work for me.  Doing so would save SOOO much time in reading and assessing what the kids post (some of my assignments ask them to blog).  I've recently been thinking about looking into Blogmeister or a newly found educational blog site called Edmodo.  Any opinions?

Thanks for thinking about using Edmodo. Would love to have you try and test us out. The advantage of Edmodo is that it is a private communications tool and have a built in assignment turn in system. You and your students can share files, links, & notes with each other. We believe in the power of online sharing and communication. Our tool has been modeled after facebook and twitter which should make your students very comfortable in getting started very quickly. The other cool thing about Edmodo is being able to create groups with other teachers to collaborative with. If you have any questions/concerns give me a buzz, i'd be more than happy to answer any question you may have.
